Biography
|
Born in Singapore 1935 of British parents. One of four siblings. Hurried departure as Japanese invasion took place 1942/3 and escaped on one of the last ships (Laimoon) heading to India with mother and three siblings and many wounded troops. Father opted to remain with 6 other high ranking polices officers to keep law and order. They were captured and taken prisoners. In Changi prison for over 4 years and were starved.
