I lived in Singapore from 1958 - 1968 as my father was in the Dutch Merchant Navy.We lived in the company (K.P.M/R.I.L) flats at 214 Dunearn Rd & I attended the Hollandse School on Orange Grove Rd (which is now the Tennis Pavillion of the Shangri-La Hotel) We also spent all our spare time at the Singapore Swimming Club & De Hollandse Club. We have a FB site (Hollandse School Singapore) where we put up pictures from our time there as youngsters & it is great as it is certainly bringing up fond memories of "that time"!!!Feb 02, 2014
