Portsmouth 12th and 13th July
One of our members, Irene Symons, is going to be in the UK from her home in Australia in July and we
have planned a reunion then so that she can meet some of us.
It will be on the 12th and 13th July at the Royal Maritime Club, Queen Street, Portsmouth, which has
accommodation (and if you are a member of the Union Jack Club you will get a reduced rate if you phone
and mention it).
We have had a few reunions there, quite a few of us have Portsmouth connections, with it being an army
garrison and a naval base, having been to school there in between Singapore postings.
Book your room, let me know if you are going, and once we know numbers we can work out a format for
dining and drinking, plus a bit of daytime sightseeing if you want. The club is a few minutes away from
the dockyard, HMS Victory and Gunwharf Quays.
