Biography My Dad (Douglas Smith) was a Police Corporal at RAF Tengah, from 1968-71. We lived, firstly in a B&B in the city somewhere, where my sister & father got Chicken Pox..My mother & I remained immune, we then moved to Woodlands for a short while & then, finally, 11 Hunters Hill on the Unit itself! I & my Sister went to Tengah Primary School & I was a member of the Tengah Herons swimming club...I did a bit of karate, but didn't stick with it (I gave it the Chop!) I used to sit in awe at the soldier ants as they moved through... Tiger Balm Gardens will always stay in my memories, probably for the wrong reasons!
