Changi Juniors 1964426 viewsMy thanks to Wayne Killington, First right on the back row, whose father was with 41 squadron RNZAF. He thinks this photo was taken in late 1966 and that he was in standard 4, and that he was in one of class rooms in the background of photo. He was the only New Zealander in the class.
Julie Dunbar thinks that this is Class 2a1 outside what was their classroom. Julie is on the front row, second from right. Her best friend, Winifred was 4th from left on the front row.
Ingrid Kivikoski-Schroder - RAF Tengah March 1967388 viewsI have just found this photo & thought you might appreciate it.On the back it says 64 Squadron RAF Tengah March 1967.
I lived in Singapore from 1958 - 1968 as my father was in the Dutch Merchant Navy.We lived in the company (K.P.M/R.I.L) flats at 214 Dunearn Rd & I attended the Hollandse School on Orange Grove Rd (which is now the Tennis Pavillion of the Shangri-La Hotel) We also spent all our spare time at the Singapore Swimming Club & De Hollandse Club. We have a FB site (Hollandse School Singapore) where we put up pictures from our time there as youngsters & it is great as it is certainly bringing up fond memories of "that time"!!!
Me (on left) and my mate (Vic Gale) during one of our diving expeds out to 'Raffles Lighthouse'! We had a great time out there, diving all around Singers and (Off-shore) Malaya, both West and East Coast.
