Memories of Singapore

8mm film transferred digitally and shot between ‘62 & ‘64. It shows my family and friends enjoying a day at the airmen’s pool. I’m the little blonde boy in the baggy red trunks. My sister Yvonne is in the black swimsuit. You can see the hospital and other scenes taken by mum and dad in Singapore town with St Andew’'s Catherdral, snake charmers and the monkeys at Manston Road. Parachute training from a a whirlwind helicopter on Changi airfield, 24A Waddington Road, Hastings TG520, Belvederes, then low level flying in Borneo doing a supply drop and coming in to land shot from the cockpit.
