Robert Todd and his
girlfriend visited the demolished Gillman Section of Bourne
School. Robert said that "We recently tried exploring the
site. There is precious little left, just some of the steps
which are very overgrown. We found the fire hydrant on the
steps leading up from Malan Road, and the steps to side of
where the Basha Huts once stood. Apart from that it’s
difficult to imagine that there was ever anything there.
The open assembly area had a squatter’s camp in it when we
went there." |
