Hua Guan Avenue
A couple of then and now photographs of Hua Guan Avenue. The Avenue is now a much sought after place to live, but our old bungalow was forgotten about for a long time.

This is the bungalow in September 2003. A new house now stands on this site.
These two photos are of a young Andrew Barber on the skates (1959-62) 63 Hua Guan Avenue. The Earp family lived opposite in the big "officers" house. Our Amah was A- ying !

Thanks to Rick Williams for the following photographs. Rick said "They are from my stay in 71 Hua Guan Avenue as a child between 1966-1969, as my father served in the RAOC. They include aerial pictures of the area, then and now. (That's me aged 12 in a Cessna light aircraft!)"
